I choose the topic of obesity because first is my capstone project so I already know some information about the topic making it easy for me to complete this project. I had chosen this topic because I know that obesity is a big issue in todays society including in my community. Some background information I known about Obesity is that my home place Houston is one of the fattest city in the world. Also that obesity is really high on kids these day mainly because of the bad nutrition and lack of exercise.

Three things i had learn after researching were firs that Obesity is not the same as overweight,obesity is the next level after overweight.Meaning if you are overweight is really bad but if your obese is worst is where your health is on serious problems.

The second thing i learn is that to be obese your BMI or Body Mass Index has to be 30 or more the BMI is calculated by the persons height and weight.Finally I had learn that one out of three Americans are obese i knew the statistics were high but not these much.
