Reflection Questions
1. Consedering the development opportunities available to you this year how have you applied what you learned?
What I learn this year will be applied in many ways after I leave this classroom and school. Many will be use for school and many will be use for job opportunities. What I learn in this class will be useful for the rest of life even beyond when I graduate from college or when I get a degree because everything ill do I know I will be using a computer.
2. What strengths do you possess that you can use at a higher level next year?
Some of the strengths I gain this semester while in this class that will be useful next year are The skills I learn using Microsoft Office. Next year I will be in college and as we all know college is not a piece of cake is challenging and costly. But these skills will help me a lot for example when I do a report am going have to use Microsoft word or when I have to do a presentation I will have to use those skills I learn to help myself. These strengths I had gain will help college assignment a little easier.
3. What obstacles must you work through so you can meet all your goals for this year?
Some obstacles I have to work through to meet my goals for this year is first I have to take care of my attendance appeals hours so I can get all my credits back, if I don’t do this wont graduate. I also have to raise most of my grades in some of my classes so I can pass and graduate. Lastly I have to work through all my final projects and I don’t have much time left. I have to achieve all this to accomplish my goal which is graduating and going to SFA.I know am going to struggle but I know I will accomplish this no matter what.
4. Discuss what you have learned during the class and how it will assist you in achieving further academic and work related goals.
This year I learn many things I had master Microsoft Office and also I had learn how to type faster. This skills I had learn will be really useful later on in my life because everyone knows that to get a good job you need to have good computer skills and job will prefer a person with computer skills over a person that don’t know nothing about computers. Also in college next year this computer skills I gain will be really useful.
5. if you could do any assignments over this year, which one would it be and why? Any regrets?
If I could do any assignment over it would be the “all about me “PowerPoint. I did that project like in two days I really didn’t take my time because I procrastinated till the end. I know if I would had taken my time the project would had been way better with more information about me .It would had more slides with more animations it would just be better.
6. What are 3 words you would use to describe this class?
Three words that would describe this class would be Useful, Fun and Worthy. I said useful because I know I need to know the skills I learned in this class in my future. Is worthy because this class you actually need it not like others that are just thrown in our schedule but they consider like us students really need it, and lastly it was fun because I had fun learning of how to use and do certain stuff.
7. How did your computer skills grow or improve over the course of the year?
My computer grew immensely over the year I learn how to do many things I didn’t know how to do .For example I learn how to do a website I had no idea how to do that before this semester .Or like learning how to use some Microsoft problems like asses or publisher I had no idea how those where use .Also I got faster at typing which is a big advantage because that will help me later on in life.
8. What were your greatest challenges or lessons learned?
My greatest challenge learning was mastering Microsoft Asses because I wasn’t here for most of the lesson and when I came back I was really lost. It was really difficult understanding it and using it, I just didn’t even know how to start a new page. But at the end I found help and everything became clearer.
